INDOOR GATHERING GUIDELINES

Updated February 2, 2021

Let’s Work Together to Stay Healthy!

What We’re Doing:

  • Limiting the number of people at each gathering
  • All high-volume areas will be thoroughly sanitized between gatherings.
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building.
  • No offering buckets will be passed. Instead, there will be an area in the back of the Sanctuary for Tithes and Offerings.
  • All seatback materials, papers, and pens will be removed and we will not be handing out bulletins. All the information will be available online at truegrace.church

How You Can Help:

  • If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us live for True Grace Church at Home on our website or on YouTube.
  • Please wear a face mask at all times when indoors.
  • Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.
  • Please maintain a distance of six feet between your family and other guests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to register in order to attend?

Those wishing to attend our Indoor Gatherings will need to reserve their seats* ahead of time. This will need to be done each week. This will help us to make sure each gathering’s capacity stays within limits that allow for maintaining physical distancing.

*We are using our event registration page to reserve seats, but you don’t need to register every single person who will be attending. One person can reserve multiple seats for their family.

How do I reserve seats for an Indoor Gathering?

Beginning on Sunday, September 27th, go to truegrace.church, scroll down and click on Indoor Gatherings. This will take you to our registration page where you can click on Register and complete the form to reserve your seats. You will receive a confirmation email and those seats will be reserved for that gathering for your family.

When can I reserve my seat?

The registration page for the next Sunday’s Indoor Gathering will be released every Sunday at noon. Registration will remain open as long as space is available until the gathering begins.

How many seats will be available at each Indoor Gathering?

To safely ensure everyone’s ability to maintain a safe physical distance indoors, we will be having 100 seats available to reserve. If we have an overwhelming amount of participation at our two Sunday Indoor Gatherings, we will look into other opportunities for gathering in person.

What should I do if the gathering I wish to attend is full?

If a gathering is full, we encourage you to look for another indoor gathering time or engage in one of our online gatherings.

What if I’m showing symptoms or I’m uncomfortable attending the in person gathering?

We encourage you to engage in our True Grace Church at Home Gathering located online at live.truegrace.church or on YouTube. You’re part of True Grace Church no matter where you choose to attend!

Will I have to wear a face mask?

Anyone attending one of our Indoor Gatherings is required to wear a face mask. Children ages 2 & under are discouraged from wearing a face mask & children ages 3-12 are encouraged, but not required to wear a face mask, per state recommendations. If someone arrives without a mask, one will be provided.

It is the policy of True Grace Church to abide by the state’s rules regarding face masks while gathering. The only exceptions to the rule are for the worship band while performing, and the speaker while teaching. We also recognize that people who are trauma survivors or otherwise have anxiety, panic attacks, or any multitude of physical disabilities or restrictions won’t be wearing a mask.

We also understand it is against medical privacy laws to ask attendees why they aren’t wearing one, so by attending the gathering, you and your family are acknowledging and accepting the additional risk of being around others who might fall into one of these categories and not be wearing masks.

What time are the Online Gatherings?

We stream our two live gatherings online every Sunday @ 9:30am and 11:00am. You can watch them on live.truegrace.church or on YouTube.

Will there be anything for kids during Sunday's Indoor Gatherings?

We are so excited to be reopening with the first phase of Kids Ministry on campus starting February 7th. We understand that during this season kids ministry will look a little different, but we are doing our best to keep the kids at True Grace safe as they come on campus:

Timeline for reopening:

  • February 7th: Kids Church Reopens (1st-5th Grades)
  • March 7th: Early Childhood Reopens (18 months-Kindergarten)
  • April 4th: Nursery: Babies Reopens (Birth-18 months)

Here is what we are doing:

Our Kids Team:

  • We will be temperature checking all of our kids team.
  • Hand sanitizer will be used frequently.
  • Masks/face shields are required.

For Kids:

  • We are limiting capacity and asking all families to reserve a seat for their child during our Sunday morning gatherings, so that safe social distancing can occur.
  • During the check-in process we will be temperature checking all kids.
  • Hand sanitizer will be used frequently and is encouraged for all kids.
  • We are asking face-shields/masks to be worn at all times.
  • We are cleaning and sanitizing all toys and kids areas before/after and in-between gatherings.

Reserve a spot for your child at Kids Church here.

What if my kid is not able to attend Kids Church?

We will continue to provide activities and a snack in packets handed out by our Kids Team before the Indoor Gatherings. During the Indoor Gatherings we will have a Wiggle Room available for families to use. We will also still create our weekly Online Experience for Kids videos.

Families attending an Indoor Gathering are encouraged to bring a tablet or other handheld device, plus headphones, into the main gatherings and have their kids watch the Online Experience for Kids during the Message portion of the gathering. The video can be downloaded ahead of time and will be available on the True Grace Kids webpage and the True Grace Kids YouTube page on Saturdays by 5:00pm.

Our goal is for the entire family to experience engaging and age appropriate material during our gatherings while we are indoors.

Will there be anything for my youth student during Sunday’s Indoor Gathering?

Youth are encouraged to sit with their families during the Indoor Gatherings. The Youth Ministry will continue to meet Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Check out the Youth Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest information regarding True Grace Youth.

Will we be receiving communion?

During this time we will be having pre-packaged communion during the gatherings.

What are the ways I can give during this time?

At our Indoor Gatherings, there will be a box in the back of the Sanctuary for Tithes and Offerings.

At any time, you can join what God is doing by giving through your bank’s bill-pay or by visiting truegrace.church/give. Your generosity is making a difference!

We want to pray for you!

We understand how hard this season has been and we're praying for God's guidance and wisdom in all of the choices you face in the weeks ahead.
